A basement plant room in a stone house: a steel heat pump cabinet, copper pipework, a steel cylinder and ducting under timber joists

Our approach

Quiet engineering

We design, install and look after heating and cooling for exceptional homes. Every system is sized room by room and fitted so cleanly you forget it is there. Warm floors in January. Cool, quiet rooms in July.

Systems

We measure every room and work out its heat loss, then size the equipment to the house rather than to a catalogue.

Our own crew fits every line set, coil and control. Pipework runs straight, insulated and labelled, so the next person can read it.

Seasonal visits keep the coil clean, the refrigerant right and the controls honest. Most problems end here, before you would notice them.

Swap an old boiler or a tired condenser for a variable speed heat pump that runs slow and steady instead of on and off.

Building or restoring? We work with your architect early, so grilles, plant space and pipe routes are drawn in, not added later.

How we work

From the first visit
to every season after

  1. 01

    Survey

We walk the house, measure every room and ask how you actually live in it.

  2. 02

    Design

A drawn plan: the equipment, the pipe routes and where each grille sits.

  3. 03

    Install

The same crew from the first day to the last, working tidily in a lived-in house.

  4. 04

    Care

A visit each season to check, clean and tune what we fitted.

Care plan

One visit
every season

After the install, we keep coming back. Four visits a year, timed to the turn of each season.

  1. Spring

Cooling start-up. Outdoor coil washed, condensate lines cleared, filters changed.

  2. Summer

Refrigerant and airflow checked while the system works hardest.

  3. Fall

Heating start-up. Controls, zone valves and safety checks before the first cold night.

  4. Winter

Defrost cycle tested, outdoor unit kept clear of snow and ice.
